What is your view on the October 7th 2023 terrorist attack against Israel and the subsequent war against Hamas?
What is your view on the Israel boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) movement?
What steps would you take (for example, in the education and law enforcement arenas) to help prevent current and future anti-Jewish hatred and antisemitic activity in your jurisdiction? Do you support legislative (local, state, federal) efforts to further codify the IHRA Definition of Antisemitism into law in the United States?
Do you support policies in the K-12 space that would ensure equal treatment for Jewish and Israeli-American students? Policies may include: defining antisemitism, antisemitism prevention training, access to Holocaust museums, recognition of Jewish American heritage, and complete complaint procedures.
Do you support efforts to expand, strengthen, and mandate Holocaust education in public schools? What will you do to support these efforts?
There have been efforts to introduce new Ethnic Studies curricula in local school districts that may contain negative stereotypes and false information about Jewish, Israeli, and Israeli-American people. Do you oppose these efforts? And, if so what will you do to prevent the adoption of a discriminatory Ethnic Studies curriculum?
Do you support the Abraham Accords normalization agreements between Israel and Arab nations? How would you work to promote and expand these agreements at the state and local level?
Would you support state and local initiatives that promote trade, cultural exchange, and cooperation between your jurisdiction and Abraham Accords signatory countries?
