Demand Accountability from Massachusetts Lawmakers on MTA Antisemitism

On February 10, 2025, the Massachusetts Special Commission on Combating Antisemitism held a hearing to investigate antisemitism in K-12 education, with a focus on the Massachusetts Teachers Association’s (MTA) role in promoting bias and enabling radical narratives in public schools.

Despite these revelations, MTA President Max Page has refused to acknowledge the harm caused or take corrective action. His continued leadership represents a clear endorsement of this dangerous status quo. Massachusetts lawmakers must take a stand.

We are calling on the Joint Committee on Labor and Workforce Development, the Joint Committee on Education, and all Massachusetts state legislators to publicly commit to halting all collaboration with the MTA on legislative matters until Max Page rids the MTA of antisemitism and ensures that Massachusetts schools remain neutral, inclusive, and free from antisemitism.

Our demand is clear: No cooperation with a union that fosters bias and threatens Jewish students' safety. Lawmakers must stand with families and demand better for our children.
