ICAN Endorses Dave Reservitz for Governor’s Councilor in Massachusetts’ 2nd District

The Israeli-American Civic Action Network (ICAN) is proud to announce its endorsement of Dave Reservitz for Governor’s Councilor in Massachusetts’ 2nd District. As a dedicated trial attorney with over 27 years of experience, Dave has a proven commitment to justice, fairness, and confronting antisemitism head-on. He will be on the Democratic ballot for Governor’s Councilor on September 3rd.

The Governor’s Council, a crucial eight-member body, is responsible for voting on judicial nominations, directly affecting the quality of justice in Massachusetts. Dave Reservitz, with his deep legal expertise and history of service on the Judicial Nominating Committee (JNC) under Governor Deval Patrick, is exceptionally qualified for this role.

One of Dave’s top priorities is ensuring that Massachusetts judges are committed to standing up against antisemitism. As Governor’s Councilor, he will personally ensure that every judicial nominee is thoroughly vetted on this critical issue, protecting our community from hate and discrimination.

ICAN encourages voters in the 2nd District, which includes towns such as Ashland, Attleboro, Braintree, Brockton, Framingham, and Needham, to support Dave Reservitz in the upcoming elections on September 3rd and November 5th. Together, we can ensure that our judges are committed to justice and equality for all.

The 2nd District of Massachusetts includes the towns of Ashland, Attleboro, Avon, Bellingham, Braintree (Precincts 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A, 4A, 5A, 5B, 6B), Bridgewater, Brockton, Canton, Dover, East Bridgewater, Easton, Foxborough, Framingham, Franklin, Halifax, Hanson, Holliston, Hopkinton, Mansfield, Medfield, Medway, Milford, Millis, Milton, Natick, Needham, Norfolk, North Attleborough, Norton, Plainville, Randolph, Sharon, Sherborn, Stoughton, West Bridgewater, Whitman, and Wrentham.

The Israeli-American Civic Action Network (ICAN) is the only organization that brings together Israeli and American activists to create change for a better America, a more secure Israel, and a stronger U.S.-Israel alliance. ICAN works with community leaders, elected officials, and grassroots organizations to strengthen the bond between the United States and Israel at all levels of government through civic education, advocacy, and public engagement. It also promotes policies that support the Israeli-American community and foster mutual understanding. With a focus on policy leadership and strategic engagement, ICAN is committed to empowering Israeli-American activists and pro-Israel Americans to take an active role in shaping public policy.
