ICAN Endorses Alon Stein for Judge in the 12th Subcircuit of Cook County
The Israeli-American Civic Action Network (ICAN) is proud to announce its endorsement of Alon Stein for Judge in the 12th Subcircuit of Cook County, which includes communities like Northbrook, Glenview, and surrounding areas. As the Democratic nominee for the General Election on November 5, 2024, Alon brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and a strong commitment to both his community and the legal profession.
Alon Stein, a seasoned courtroom attorney, has an impressive track record of representing local businesses and individuals with integrity and excellence. His legal acumen is exemplified by his numerous successful cases, including a recent wrongful death jury trial where he successfully defended a nurse against false accusations. Alon’s experience extends to arguing before state and federal appellate courts, as well as serving as an arbitrator for the Circuit Court of Cook County for over a decade.
In addition to his legal practice, Alon is deeply involved in his community. He serves on the board of a Sunday school for immigrant and first-generation American children and is an active participant in Northbrook Action Baseball. His commitment to public service is further demonstrated by his leadership roles in several bar associations and his work as an officer of the Advocates Society, the Polish-American Bar Association in Chicago.
Alon Stein resides in Northbrook, Illinois, with his wife, Nina, and their two sons, Ari and Oren. Together, they are active participants in local school and park district activities, farmers’ markets, and various community causes.
