An advocate for Jewish civic life with a practical agenda for West Hollywood

The Israeli-American Civic Action Network (ICAN) endorses Tanya Tsikanovsky for West Hollywood City Council in the November 3, 2026 election. Tsikanovsky brings an explicit commitment to defending Israel and confronting antisemitism to a campaign focused on making local government work for residents.

Known publicly as Highlyjewish, Tsikanovsky has made Jewish advocacy central to her work. Her published biography identifies her as the head of development and operations at ThinkAgain, a senior advisor to the Combat Antisemitism Movement, and the host of the Highlyjewish Podcast.

Tsikanovsky’s municipal agenda calls for safer streets, stronger local businesses, and a City Hall that answers residents. Her campaign proposes working with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on public safety and reducing unnecessary barriers and permit delays for businesses.

West Hollywood’s commitment to inclusion must extend to Jewish and Israeli-American residents. ICAN supports leadership that confronts antisemitism directly and protects the freedom to participate in community life without hiding one’s identity or convictions.

ICAN urges West Hollywood voters to elect Tanya Tsikanovsky to City Council on November 3, 2026. She appears on the ballot as Tatyana “Tanya” Tsikanovsky.
