“I’m proud to accept ICAN’s endorsement of my candidacy for Congress. I feel especially close to the Israeli American community. I’m married to an Israeli American. ICAN is the only bipartisan Jewish / pro-Israel Israeli-American advocacy organization that endorses candidates at all levels of government and during primaries. ICAN supports candidates who generally believe:
1. The rise in antisemitism is unacceptable and new policy solutions need to be considered to fight this rising tide of hatred targeting Jews and Israelis.
2. The special relationship between our home, the United States, our homeland, Israel must be protected, strengthened, and deepened, including with state and local partners.
3. That Israeli-Americans, like any immigrant community, deserve the right to celebrate our heritage and connect with our culture free from bias and bigotry.
ICAN promotes the candidates we endorse to relevant constituencies, provide opportunities for candidates and voters to meet and connect, and host important voter registration activities to ensure everyone eligible to vote supports our preferred candidates. The Israeli-American Civic Action Network is dedicated to empowering Israeli immigrants and American allies to create change for a better America, a more secure Israel, and a stronger U.S. – Israel alliance through advocacy education and civic action.
